Appearance:
Kaikias is an Arcosian whose physical presentation differs noticeably from the typical morphology of her species, even in her suppressed state. She is observed in two primary forms.
Suppressed Form:
In her suppressed form, Kaikias has cerulean skin with faint violet undertones and an elongated, finely built frame. Crimson gemstones are embedded at several points across her body, with a single purple gemstone set into the forehead, all of which exhibit faint internal luminescence.
Instead of standard Arcosian horns, she possesses a ridged, crown-like cranial crest. Her auditory structures are circular and organic in appearance rather than external ears. Her eyes are red, and she retains a long, scaled tail and narrow, clawed hands.
This form already displays deviations from both the Arcosian baseline and her own familial lineage.
True Form:
In her true form, Kaikias’ appearance aligns more closely with that of her family and tribe. Her body is covered in segmented cerulean plating that functions as natural armor, shaping a clearly feminine silhouette.
Violet crystalline structures emerge in symmetrical placement across her body, including a prominent gemstone at the forehead. Her horns curve upward from the brow, and her tail becomes longer and more flexible in appearance.
Despite its adherence to the appearance of her tribe, this form serves as her primary baseline before further physical alteration occurs during combat.
Personality
Kaikias is withdrawn and self-contained, adjusting her behavior based on environment. In familiar settings, she isolates herself and prefers distance, often remaining alone and undisturbed. In unfamiliar environments, she becomes observant and cautious, studying surroundings and lifeforms from a safe remove. When approached in either case, she remains cold but formally polite.
She communicates with restraint and intent. Kaikias avoids social niceties and speaks only as much as she deems necessary, favoring directness over courtesy. She does not dominate conversation, but neither does she invite it.
When challenged, Kaikias responds with controlled sarcasm and subtle verbal barbs rather than confrontation. She probes and provokes without escalating, using detachment and mild insult as a defensive buffer.
In group settings, Kaikias listens and speaks with the purpose of gathering information. She remains guarded even among allies, operating under the assumption that observation is mutual. She actively evaluates how loyalty is formed and may present calculated vulnerability to secure it when useful.
Under pressure, Kaikias turns inward. She internalizes failure, suppresses outward reaction, and withdraws behind emotional and physical defenses while reassessing. Self-directed criticism and strategic recalculation occur simultaneously, often paired with quiet preparation for future retaliation or correction.
Kaikias adapts through consequence. She absorbs outcomes quickly and avoids repeating failures, preferring caution and preparation over impulse. When time allows, she plans thoroughly; when it does not, she is capable of decisive escalation. Even failure is treated as data rather than defeat.
